The speaker of the Somaliland Senate Hon. Suleiman Mohamoud Adam appointed a committee made up of 24 senators and the secretay general of the senate to deliberate on matters concerning the extension of the term of both the Somaliland House of Representatives and the municipalities accross the country during a time when the National Electoral Commission requested an extension after announcing that they were unable to hold the upcoming parliamentary and municipal elections on time for technical reasons.
